Puppies are reserved on a first come basis. Most of our litters are reserved before they reach 8 weeks of age. Deposits are $300. Deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due at pick up (no personal checks or PayPal accepted at pick up. Zelle is accepted at pick up but please verify with your institution that final payment does not exceed a daily transaction limit). You can find the puppy contract for information and guarantees on the home page labeled "Puppy Contract". Deposits may be sent via Cashier Checks or money order; or you may send it digitally by PayPal (friends and acquaintances) or Zelle.

Full registration is available for some litters for an additional fee to approved breeding homes and must be discussed prior to deposit. See information on the bottom of this page for information regarding puppy selection and visitation. Contact us directly regarding possible transportation options.

5D Retrievers has the right to 1st Pick female and/or male of any litter.

Puppies are ready to go to their new homes around 8 weeks of age.

We ask that you please arrive to your scheduled appointment time for puppy selection or pick up date on time.

Often times we have multiple appointment scheduled on these days and want to ensure that everyone gets plenty of time to spend with the puppies and get their questions answered.

Veterinary Clinics can have a bit of a wait to get into in some areas. Please remember to schedule your puppy's 9 Week health appointment with your veterinarian prior to pick up to ensure vaccinations remain on time.

PUPPY SELECTION
5D Retrievers reserves the right to have first pick of any litter male and/or female.
Picks are done in the order of which deposits are received (first come first serve). Selections begin when the puppies are around 6 weeks of age allowing time for individual looks and personalities to develop. You may come in person to pick out your puppy when it's your turn. If you are unable to pick in person you will be given a block of time to pick by pictures, videos, and by my observations of personalities.

VISITATION POLICY
The only way puppies receive immunity to diseases and bacteria is through mothers milk. Therefore, for the safety and health of our puppies, we do not allow anyone to come visit our puppies until they are over 6 weeks of age. We DO NOT allow visitors to bring their pets to 5D Retrievers to reduce the possibility of disease, infection, viruses and parasites. You will need to perform hand hygiene prior to touching puppies as well as removing shoes or placing on shoe covers. Please wear a new pair of clothes, if possible, to visit. Due to the risk of injury to the puppies, NO children under the age of 5 will be allowed in the puppy play area.
